At the end of the street
As I go from one street to another, I often feel transformed. Various emotions, feelings and memories arise in me. The street reminds me of melodies, of people I met there, sometimes even I am overwhelmed by everything that can or could happen there on a daily basis. I walk the same streets every day, but what they evoked me a year ago is no longer relevant. These streets haven’t changed, but I’m the one who’s changed over time. This edition -agenda is illustrated with street photographs of my childhood city in Crete. Passing from one image to another will arise feelings, emotions, different eras. Each street is associated with a memory, a thought, an idea, a joy, a melancholy. The street is not just a passageway from one point to another, it is everything : beach, harbour, people, animals, vegetation, all the life that can take place there. Every detail of the street makes what it is, participates in its construction and its representation that we make of it according to our own feelings. In this diary some will be able to identify with it by going through it, perhaps having feelings similar to mine.
